Dilurex™ PBS Casein Sucrose Blocking Buffer (pH 7.4)
Dilurex PBS Casein Sucrose Blocking Buffer offers the best price to performance ratio on the market. The base system is phosphate buffered saline - perfect for systems that are using PBS as a diluent or reaction buffer. Casein is used as the blocking protein which binds to unoccupied hydrophobic or charged sites on assay surfaces preventing unwanted non-specific binding of antibodies, enzymes, or other proteins leading to clearer, more reliable signals. Sucrose stabilizes your mixture by preserving the folding integrity of proteins during drying or freezing. Choose one of our other blocking buffers if your assay is detecting phosphoproteins, uses biotin/streptavidin detection, Alkaline Phosphatase detection, autoimmune assays, or aldehyde coated substrates in case of potential interference.
