AFB Kinyoun/Ziehl-Neelsen, Decolorizer Replacement Kit, 4x8 oz, Ethos

AFB Decolorizer is formulated for use in acid-fast staining procedures, including the Kinyoun and Ziehl–Neelsen methods. Applied after the primary carbol fuchsin stain, this reagent removes dye from non–acid-fast material while acid-fast organisms retain the red coloration. The selective decolorization step allows clear differentiation of acid-fast bacteria from background elements following application of a suitable counterstain. Suitable for routine use in clinical, veterinary, and research laboratories, the formulation is compatible with standard acid-fast staining protocols and supports consistent, reliable microbiology results.
